Our YFC Cafe Connect is a hoping place open to the public Monday - Friday 10am - 3pm for guests to enjoy a delicious home cooked and reasonably priced meal while all funds brought in coming back to support the work of YFC London to impact more youth. This space is a teaching kitchen offering youth opportunities to learn valuable skills in running a cafe.
The space is also used currently Monday and Thursday nights for YFC Kitchen to teach youth in Grade 5-9 valuable cooking skills, giving them a place to belong and allowing them to enjoy a home cooked meal they have prepared together.
If that wasn't enough the space is also used for rentals for various groups using our space, for catering and to benefit various groups and youth in our community.
Our project is to replace and refresh our tables and chairs in our space which often also act as prep space for the many things that we do in the community. It's time for these wobbly and starting to peal chairs to be replaced to give everyone in the space a safe and sturdy environment to work in.
This project is very important to us so that we can continue to offer all that we do for youth and the community at large to the many people we currently work with and know but the many who we have yet to meet.
Receiving this funding would mean the world to us as it would allow us to keep our financial resources for supporting the programs we run and allowing us to continue to grow and expand to reach more youth in our community.

Our “Forever Young Seniors Bible Study” met last year on Wednesday mornings. We were served coffee and then lunch at noon by the Connect Care staff.
My husband and I enjoyed Cafe Connect’s delicious offering at Londonlicious this year. The cafe is a great way to support London youth!
Cafe Connect is now a London Landmark in the foodservice realm. Dorothy and the team are absolutely amazing. Any help they get would be gratefully accepted!
