To further enhance resident well-being and family engagement, we are seeking funding to improve our outdoor environment and create safe, welcoming, and year-round usable gathering spaces for residents, families, and caregivers.
Proposed Enhancements
• Two (2) covered shelter structures with concrete footings and paved surfaces
• Outdoor electrical lighting for safety and evening use
• Larger, durable tables and comfortable seating suitable for year-round use
• Additional benches and gathering spots for small-group visits
These enhancements will offer dignified and comfortable outdoor space for visits and activities for the families and friends of the residents of Victoria Manor.
Providing sheltered areas for year-round use will support residents’ emotional and social well-being by encouraging connection and mobility.
Improving accessibility and safety will foster a more home-like therapeutic environment despite current infrastructure restrictions.
