Growing Together: Revitalizing Gardens and Creating a Living Wall at École élémentaire catholique Saint-Isidore

What is this project about?

This project will revitalize the existing schoolyard gardens by repairing damaged areas, replacing broken beds, and adding new greenery. A vertical “living wall” will also be created to expand natural space within the school environment. These improvements will provide hands-on learning opportunities, beautify the schoolyard, and create a welcoming green space for the entire community.

Why is this project important to the community?

Our students, staff, and families value caring for creation and connecting with nature. Revitalizing the gardens and creating a living wall will not only give children daily access to green spaces but also provide learning opportunities that link directly to environmental stewardship, science, and wellness. These spaces will be enjoyed by the entire community and will foster pride and care for our school environment.
