Design for Agro

What is this project about?

Studio 138 is a forward-thinking studio that is located just outside Ottawa. This studio allows students to explore all STEM / STEAM related pathways. These options include; 3D MODELING | GRAPHICS | 3D PRINTING | MANUFACTURING | DESIGN PROCESS | MATERIAL APPLICATIONS | PRODUCT DESIGN | DIGITAL CONCEPTUAL DRAWING | PROTOTYPING | ENTREPRENEURSHIP.

This is a studio that has focused on leading edge technology. A studio that sparks curiosity, but also instills a sense of confidence and passion for design & exploration says Design Instructor Scott Currie. “By immersing them in real-world applications through STEAM [Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math] , AI & DESIGN PROCESS, we can empower these students to become future innovators, creative problem solvers who are truly skilled entrepreneurs that are ready for industry"

Through implementation, industry partners now see the value in functional training that fosters the applications that are already in place. The studio is currently expanding to AI + Robotics + all things Design through: Robotics & Automation | Software Applications and Podcast & Industry partner social connections

Why is this project important to the community?

PRESENT:
Students have found connections between AUTOMATION / ROBOTICS and direct PRODUCT PLACEMENT. Students are developing their skills in real work applications, and are being mentored by industry leaders to apply these skills to workplace and educational pathways of engineering and beyond.

NEXT:
Studio 138 has implemented strategies for full AI alternatives for student learning. This shift and augmentation will allow students to understand AI | CODING | DESIGN & BUILD | AUTOMATION | PNEUMATICS and other ADDITIVE [3D PRINTING] combined with robotic applications on all systems and corporate identity levels.
