Clubhouse Interior Upgrade

What is this project about?

Our clubhouse is in a 100 year old building that has not been updated in at least 30 years. To create a more vibrant and inviting space for our members, those learning to bowl for the first time and our tournament participants we would like to renovate the interior of the building with new floors and ceilings, lighting, kitchen cupboards and counters as well as a new storage area. We hope this new space will also be used by other community groups.

Why is this project important to the community?

Lawn bowling is a sport for all ages and the Seaforth club offers an 18 rink green that is the best playing surface in our area. The sport offers outdoor activity, gentle movement and competitive fun for all ages. This availability for outdoor activity is particulary important to our senior community. We hope that a refreshed clubhouse will attract even more members to bowling and make the space more useful to other groups for gatherings.
