Accessible walkway and fire pit

What is this project about?

An accessible walkway leading to the pavilion and paved fire pit that can be used by the entire community, no matter what age or ability.

Why is this project important to the community?

The new sun/shade pavilion was built by the generous donation of a local person and the fundraising of the West Niagara Ag Society Volunteers. To reach the pavilion from the main hall requires traversing up a small hill. The addition of a fire pit will enable all that use the grounds (girl guides, 4-H groups, families, school children, attendees that stay over for the weekend a place to gather in a casual environment. An accessible walkway is needed by the many that use the grounds as also a paved fire pit making it easy for children, walkers, wheel chairs to also be accommodated.
