The Spencerville Library is a cornerstone of our small rural community — a place where residents of all ages come together to learn, connect, and participate in local programs. Ensuring safe and accessible entry to the library is essential to maintaining that inclusivity. The current accessibility ramp has aged and requires upgrades to meet modern standards and safety expectations.
Revitalizing the ramp will allow everyone, including seniors, parents with strollers, and individuals with mobility challenges, to continue accessing library services independently and with dignity. This project supports our community’s values of inclusion, accessibility, and equal opportunity for participation in public spaces.

My children and I attend the Spencerville library weekly. The ramp is essential to ensure I can get in and out of the library safely on my own with both kids.
