This project is a kitchen renovation initiative—an essential upgrade that will bring our facilities up to current Ontario Food Premises Regulations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. More importantly, it will expand the ways Arts Hub Brockville can serve our community.
The existing kitchen is outdated and limits our ability to support programs and host events. Renovations will enable us to:
Prepare nutritious lunches for Youth Opportunities in the Arts and Brockville Theatre Camps, supporting hundreds of young people each summer.
Partner with the Brockville and Area Food Bank to deliver cooking classes for youth facing food insecurity, offering both life skills and a safe, welcoming environment.
Support community groups such as Girl’s Inc. and Scouts Canada, which rely on our facility for learning opportunities, events, and outreach.
Increase revenue-generating opportunities through rentals, receptions, and events—helping ensure the long-term sustainability of the Arts Hub.
Enrich community life by enhancing programs such as dinner theatre and the monthly free community lunch hosted by the congregation that worships in our building.
This renovation is not just about upgrading a kitchen—it’s about strengthening community connections, supporting youth, and ensuring the Arts Hub remains a vibrant gathering place for years to come.
