Ganaraska Trail Public School Playground Fundraiser

What is this project about?

This project is focused on revitalizing our outdoor space and school playground to ensure that we have a space that will support all students and families in our growing school community. Our current outdoor play area is in need of significant upgrades to better serve the physical, social and emotional needs of our students and to ensure that we have an inclusive and safe playground space that will support all learners, including those with diverse abilities and will promote healthy activity, creativity and connection.

Why is this project important to the community?

We are in dire need of revitalizing our school playground and outdoor space to be able to better serve physical, social and emotional needs of all of our students. Supporting the youth in our community not only supports the growth and learning of all students including those with diverse abilities but it also promotes our students to develop healthy habits and to better connect with their peers through play based activities.
